Top Tips For Finding Fall Beauty On A Budget
- Shop Discount Stores
Ross, TJ Maxx, and other discount retailers often have incredible savings on clothing, makeup, beauty tools, and more.
These stores often purchase items leftover or unsold from larger chains. So, skip the lines at Macy’s and check out your local discount stores. Chances are, you’ll find the same cute items at a fraction of the cost.
- Comparison Shop
Download a free price comparison app and don’t be afraid to use it! Apps such as RedLaser or ShopSavvy allow you to scan barcodes at the store, then show you if there are better deals out there. Most of these apps can scan at any major store and will cross-check against online retailers as well.
- Local Drugstores
CVS, Walgreens, or other drugstores often put out incredible coupons in local newspapers. Combine those savings with their store cards to get makeup, skincare, nail products, or hair care items for less!
Each store maintains its own rules about what coupons can be combined, so make sure you read the fine print. But, if you do it correctly, you will find yourself walking out of there with tons of quality products without spending much money.
- Get Organized
I don’t even wanna tell you how many times I’ve bought a new lipstick only to discover that I had the same shade at home already…. Oops!
If you’re going to invest in something, why not in some organizational systems? Cute bins or containers will help you make sure everything is labeled and where it needs to be. It will save you money long-term.
- Choose Multi-Purpose Items
One of the BEST ways to ensure your money goes further is to purchase items that can be multi-purpose. Try a scarf that can double as a headwrap. Or, buy an eyeshadow palette with enough shades that it can also serve as blush or bronzer.
Personal care items such as coconut oil or Epsom salts can serve double-duty as well. Try to purposefully purchase items to avoid wasting time or money.
Sometimes… a girl’s just gotta splurge! Nothing wrong with that! Hopefully, these tips will give you a few ideas of where you can cut back so that splurge feels like even more of a special treat!
